Course Open
Dress Code

We are a friendly and modern Club and, as a visitor, your enjoyment both on and off the Course is of importance to us. Not unlike most sports we believe that adhering to a dress code enhances the experience of the occasion.

Our guidelines are simple, on the golf course we do accept fashion changes very quickly, so any recognised golfing apparel that can be purchased from a professional golf retail outlet is acceptable. Gentlemen’s shirts these days are designed to be worn in or outside the waistband and matching socks of any variety are fine. Golf shorts should be tailored and cargo shorts are not deemed to be "golfing apparel".

Similar guidelines apply to Ladies, only golfing apparel that can be purchased from a professional golf retail outlet is acceptable.

For your visit to Blainroe please note that any smart casual clothing is acceptable in the Clubhouse although we do ask both ladies and gentlemen to remove baseball caps. Golf Shoes are not to be worn at any time in the Lobby, Lounge or Dining areas. Tailored Shorts, Denims and Trainers are not acceptable after 7pm.

To enhance everybody’s enjoyment please ensure mobile phones are switched to silent or vibrate mode and are only used in the Lobby area or outside of the Clubhouse and for emergencies on the Course.
